Benidorm Palace Presents: Show and Stay, with more time to enjoy the Best of Benidorm at a fantastic price
Noticias · 28/09/2020

Our good friends at Benidorm Palace have come up with a great idea to bring joy into the challenging times we are living in, and also to enable their performers and hospitality staff to keep on doing what they love and be paid for it, while bringing in extra visitors to Benidorm. Every individual and enterprise has been hard hit by the Covid-19 restrictions, which have now been in force for more than six months, but it’s increasingly clear that the situation isn’t going away, and we have to find ways of living and working with it so we can enjoy a measure of the happy, sociable lifestyle which attracted us to Spain in the first place. The Climent Family, who have owned Benidorm Palace for 30 years now, and are very active in the local community, as well as running their successful business, announced their new Show and Stay Package this week. They have partnered with local hotels to introduce a combined deal for a night in a 4-star hotel in Benidorm, and a ticket for their famous Dinner Show. Choose from the Friday or Saturday package, and enjoy 24 hours to explore the town and take in the show. Or treat yourselves to the two night package and spend more time in the Entertainment Capital of the Costa Blanca. There’s lots to see and do in Benidorm; it’s so much more than a go-to place for stag and hen parties. The town is rich in culture, with many excellent restaurants, spectacular beaches, and stunning vistas from mirador at Castell de Benidorm, bridging the iconic Old Town and the Levante Promenade. Take a trip down the famous Tapas Alley, grab a bargain at the huge Sunday market, or enjoy safe sunbathing on the generously sized, socially distanced family areas on Benidorm’s main beaches – Levante and Poniente. The excellent organisation of the beach space makes Benidorm’s beaches among the safest in Spain, so you can swim or sunbathe in total security. While media hype would suggest that nowhere in Spain is safe, the truth of the matter is that municipal councils, business owners and individuals are working together, in Benidorm and all over the Costa Blanca, to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene to prevent the spread of Coronavirus. Many of our visitors remark that they feel safer in Spain than in their home countries – particularly the UK, where there is a lot of resistance to basic measures such as mask wearing in public. Here, it’s compulsory, unless you are sitting down to eat or drink. Just replace your mask if you need to leave your table. And you don’t need to wear it on the beach, in your family space, so don’t worry about tan demarcation lines! Aqua is one of the Elements series of spectacular shows which Benidorm Palace is justifiably famous for. Set on a fantasy cruise ship, the show is an eclectic mix of song, dance and speciality acts, with costumes that would not look out of place in Rio at carnival time. Benidorm Palace has its own team of experienced costume makers, and during lockdown, they turned their talents to making PPE for local hospitals. The show is so good, many people come back to see it more than once, because there is so much to enjoy. And the production crew used the lockdown to install state-of-the art screens so everyone gets a great view of what’s happening on stage. Here’s the Deal: Now we’ve whetted your appetite for Benidorm, and Benidorm Palace, you want to know the details. They are all in this Facebook Post, but this is a summary of the offer. Arrive at your 4 star hotel any time after 12 noon on Friday or Saturday, leaving the same time on Saturday or Sunday. Breakfast at the hotel, then dinner and show at Benidorm Palace. Taking the kids with you? From the ages of 2 – 12 they are free at the hotel and you just pay €25 for their show and dinner ticket. Prices: 1 night stay, €80 per person in a double room, €100 for a single room. 2 night package, €120 per person in a double room, €140 for a single room. This represents excellent value, as the normal price for a show ticket with dinner is €54 – €64. Why not treat yourselves to a fun-filled mini break, to remind yourself just how good life is here in Spain? Getting there: With easy access to the AP7 arterial motorway, and the N332 coastal road, it’s easier than you think to get to Benidorm, and traffic flow around the town is well organised. There’s a good local bus service too, so you can park up the car and forget about it until it’s time to go home. However, if you want a completely relaxing break, check out train and bus connections to Benidorm. If you can get to Alicante, there are a number of public transport options open to you. As another option, this post on the Benidorm Palace Facebook page has information on transport from the Torrevieja area on Fridays. At these prices, there is sure to be a lot of demand for this offer, as everyone seeks to bring some form of normality back into their lives.
